Why this conference exists

The Electrostatics conference series was started with a desire to understand the fundamentals of electrostatic charging, and to explain and control electrostatic phenomena found in industry. Over the years, the conference has broadened its scope to include electrostatic phenomena in our environment and in environments beyond our planet.
